Jason Lytle Yours Truly, The Commuter

Well, I didn't like it very much.

No, no, this is not a 5-star job, not even close. Disappointment for me with this album; I expected more from them, especially after the brilliant collaboration with that genius World's End Girlfriend... Here, watered down.
Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse Dark Night Of The Soul
Voto:
Uh, good. While waiting for a new work from poet Linkous, this is a nice little disc, especially since the tracks seem much more sparklehorse-ian than dangermouse-ian. For this reason, it goes without saying that the best collaborations are those with voices that are more akin to Linkous's own, particularly (for me) "Jaykub" sung by Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, and the one with Wayne Coyne. Nice review, but you should have mentioned Persson...
Max Richter 24 Postcards in Full Colour

Nice review, but I definitely prefer The Blue Notebooks and even more the earlier Memoryhouse.

...you said "I will never review anything on DeB again," that's what I meant by "threat," but actually, upon reflection, I used the wrong term. "Promise"? "Assurance"? " :-P

Yes, yes, I've read it. So what? #1: You don’t really think you’re the first one to be pointed out for reviewing an extremely famous work with extremely common opinions, do you? Uh, there are dozens of them. However, you’re the first (or one of the few) to threaten to leave because of it. So what? #2: You really don’t think that "Mr. Debaser" is an official voice (even though in this case, he says things that could be!)?

You may be disappointed, reverend, but in reality, it’s not just "you" that I'm not following properly :) And what is this ideological positioning on non-voting?

Ah avenger, but for someone who expresses an opinion (just a calm opinion written in parentheses), without giving you a rating, without attacking you or tearing apart your entire reviewing activity, you take it so personally? Wow, for someone who calls himself "avenger," you're quite sensitive. I can't picture Charles Bronson whining about a negative review...

Smash, why didn't you put the vote? Anyway, now I'm looking for this record and I'm listening to it, but (I don't know why) I have a suspicion...

I would add "gnè gnè gnè"!
