It's nice to remember this piece of history every now and then! ...look for Antonio Sapio's review of the Swell to read the best joke ever made about Malkmus :-)))

Great donz! I confirm everything, it was a bit of a Fat Festival... Shrek (I saw him, it was really him!!!), Black Francis, Kim Deal herself (legendary, legendary, so nice to see her live... her "so long" in "Here Comes Your Man" was worth the odyssey of that Saturday by itself), Ben Harper's bassist (a phenomenon, incredible)... and finally Robert Smith looking quite plump... A nod to Simon Fuller: stunning, immobile, a statue of black ice, at one point I thought I saw him move his eyes there behind his keyboard, but I think I was mistaken (must have been the fatigue), I’m sure in the end they put him under their arm and carried him away.

I've heard something about it, and I'm always left wondering whether it's worth buying or not. Hmm. Nice cover, nice review.
