Keith Jarrett The Köln Concert

:D It takes very little to unleash our Iko! Come on, Iko, that post of yours is nice, huh? But don't you think (1) that if Eze hadn't written that review, you wouldn't have been able to talk about it; (2) that writing "this is not jazz. It's Keith Jarrett" is much more beautiful (in a debaserian sense, of course) than writing "6+3/16, 12+2/16 5/8, 6+2/8, 7/8, 9/8" (especially since you can find the description of time changes elsewhere); and above all (3) that Eze has a nice way of expressing himself, light and self-ironic, unlike many other reviewers who would certainly deserve your jabs? :) Best regards (and I'm voting for him again, take that!)

Well done, Eze. You wrote an excellent review of a great album. If only there were more like it.

Here I am! I love Belgium! But these are from another scene, just like the Girls In Hawaii... nothing to do with the dozens of little groups from the Barman-Carlens-Trouvé-Pawlowski crew, etc. Some time ago, trellheim and lukin thought about drawing a kind of map (or 'family tree') of the Antwerp scene... but it's really very complicated! Good reception.

Beautiful proposal and beautiful words, kurz. I often reflect on the problem of music industry spam: you’re right, times have changed, with more records being released and less time available. But perhaps now, conversely, we are all more selective when we decide to get to know an album "down to the last nuance"; it means it strikes us enough to dedicate more time to it than others. Back in the day, 10 albums would go through the player, and each of those 10 would be thoroughly analyzed and appreciated; now, 50 might go through, and the ones that are truly "consumed" might only be 5: perhaps those 5 are really worth a lot. ...Well, I’m not sure where I’m going with this, sorry!

I missed it, psycho, interesting, they remind me of someone but I can’t recall who (so why am I even writing this).

Well, I care very little for Beck, and that little I do care comes from "Odelay" and not from "Sea Change," which somewhat (as you say) makes me curious to hear this "Guero"... maybe, if it happens...

Caz you're right, I think that's the most beautiful comment on all of DeBaser (+ bll d tto debaser). Jio_Lavigne, I love you, whoever you are (if you're a girl, even better). You're my idol. Please write more texts (especially put lots of "k" instead of hard "c's", which save space, rightly so), go through all my reviews and fill them with texts, I beg you, I adore you!
