I checked, it wasn't in Mezzago, it was at Transilvania Live in Milan. Just for the record, you know.

Uuuu what memories, I happened to hear them play about 5 years ago in Mezzago, supporting... who? I don't know, maybe Yuppie Flu. They made me feel quite underwhelmed, I’m sorry to say.

Yes, not pop from goldfish like Britney Spears obviously, not "commercial" pop perhaps, but still pop. Pop in contrast to Experimentation.

@Azzo, generally I agree with you, but keep in mind that Radiohead are still a "pop" group; they’re not doing sound research or any crazy experimentation. My impression: YouTube isn’t good enough, obviously, but you don't need an extraordinary setup to appreciate this album. Yes, it's a very well-produced album (which almost gives the impression that Kid A/Amnesiac were amateur attempts at playing with sounds), but let's not exaggerate with audiophilia :) Maybe I'm wrong. For the rest, Kid A and Amnesiac may have been "produced" worse, but there's no comparison when it comes to substance.

Uh, here it is. Old Tapes <http://www.mediafire.com/?zg00hzijynz> and Sparrow Happenings <http://www.mediafire.com/?lz4mnzzyull>. Unfortunately, it seems like he hasn't produced anything since 2007, our...

Nes, looking at my iTunes, I have "Sparrow Happenings" in addition to the ones in the link, and a sort of compilation unofficially titled "Old Tapes '02-'07", but unfortunately I don’t remember where I found them, all online anyway (mediafire - rapidshare - megaupload, something like that pretty much). Hold on, I'll redo the search and let you know if I find anything.

@madcat, "full" might be a strong word, but 5 out of 8 tracks are guitars... Lotus Flower is obviously not one of them.

Agree with the final judgment but completely disagree with the reasons. Far from hasty... This is by far the best-produced (or at least "most produced") album by the band. So much so that people think there’s a lot of electronics when it is actually full of guitars. And anyway, as far as I'm concerned, it's also the least inspired album (the Britpop one aside).

Once I had one in a trattoria near Malpensa, it was delicious, no kidding.
