I was about to reply like you did ajeje! Gyordyboy, if you listen to Autechre from 1995, you’ll understand how Thom Yorke got hooked on Warp Records before "Kid A" and "Amnesiac" and that he didn’t invent those sounds. But it’s also true that Yorke adds various ingredients that different electronic experimenters could only dream of, first and foremost a brilliant sense of melody. In short, as far as I'm concerned, Yorke is absolutely great.
