Tortoise Millions Now Living Will Never Die

I didn't understand anything from the discussion because I was conceived in '77 (in Moscow). However, post-rock doesn't seem like such a useless category to me. Slint, Tortoise, Mogwai, GYBE etc have something in common, and it doesn't seem that hidden either. It's certainly not a revolution in rock, but one of its many evolutions (perhaps the most beautiful one, for me). I don’t expect something revolutionary from rock, jazz, or electronic music—basically, not from the known categories; otherwise, what kind of revolution would it be? I mean, when rock was born, that was a revolution because it didn't exist before. The revolution will come from something we don't know, and we can't know when. So I speak like Monsieur Josi_ de Lapalisse.

Ah, so he is him too? To be honest, I wish I could open 1-schedarecensore-1 and enjoy all his beautiful writings without having to read through all the reviews each time to see if there's one of his... Oh well...
Andrea Neumann 4 Questions
Voto:
Here I am again (the Flanders trip was great!). I wanted to clarify two things. The first, as usual, is for Enea: mine is not a review but an interview; in a review, I would have obviously mentioned Cage and Stockhausen, but in an interview, I preferred not to elaborate. The second is for everyone: I never spoke of genius; in fact, I never made any merit evaluation of Andrea Neumann's music (I invite you to reread), I simply described it, reported his responses, and debated, in the comments, the legitimacy of certain paths of experimentation. As for the matter of music/melody: I'm glad to see that Enea prefers to stick to the last century; you know, in certain matters, I can be quite reactionary myself. But not in this one ;) Best regards.

Dear sir TritaLamiere, I am ringing in small places that were, however, gently kissed by Euterpe (speaking of Clio). Belgium (along with Iceland) is one of them. If you wish to know more, I recommend taking a look at the interviews of the reviewer nicknamed "t.b. ramonam" (where have they gone, btw?).

Of course, if it takes me a quarter of an hour every time to reply to you, it's not exactly clear. Well, you must have understood that I was referring to your post about Gilmour, er mejo de li Floyd.

In light of the empirical evidence, I will refrain :D For me, PF could have stopped after A Saucerful, can you imagine (my fault, of course). Bye!

No, indeed I wasn't there :) but I'm not entirely sure that someone who loves Gilmour and is willing to spend 60 euros to see him play necessarily has to be Gaggio. Even less so if they don't complain about the prices of the music industry... then maybe they do complain, and then Gaggi All Over The World.
