Enya The Celts
Enya The Celts

Voto:
I also loved Enya back in the days of "Shepherd Moons," and this "The Celts" had and still has an incredible charm. I partially agree with Grasshopper: Enya always uses the same effects on her voice and the same synth sounds; in short, she's lacking in imagination.
Claudio Lolli Ho visto anche degli zingari felici
Voto:
I remember that refrain by Di Lolli that said "old little bourgeoisie, however small you may be, I can't tell if you evoke more anger, pity, disgust, or melancholy." I'd rather forget the rest: as boring as a squared Guccini (the worst Guccini, just to be clear).

FINALLY A REVIEW OF THIS UNKNOWN AND UNDERAPPRECIATED ALBUM, IT WAS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE NOTICED IT, THANK YOU PEP
The Beatles Love
Voto:
As rightly stated, it's the soundtrack of the "Love" show by Cirque Du Soleil based on the songs of The Beatles. So, taken out of context, these reworkings/updatings seem just like yet another attempt to scrape the bottom of the Beatles barrel. Probably, watching the Cirque Du Soleil show (maybe...), everything would make sense...
Bisio E Le Storie Tese E Elio Live in Mantova - luglio 2006
Voto:
Yes Saltuario, you are right, in two and a half hours there can be a few less successful moments, and in this DVD there are some for me, but that doesn't diminish my passion for them at all, in fact I even bought their autobiography "Vite bruciacchiate." So far, the terrible dark non-alcoholic drink hasn't entered the scene, and I would like it to remain that way...
Bisio E Le Storie Tese E Elio Live in Mantova - luglio 2006
Voto:
I bought this DVD, and I like it more for my passion for Elio e le storie tese and for Bisio than for the actual enjoyment I got from it. Some parts are fantastic, but in others, the laughter is barely there; sometimes Elio and Bisio seem a bit awkward in their exchanges, and therefore they're not always as effective as one would expect from them. Even Faso's phone call in "Servi della gleba" isn't that great...
Lights and shadows in my opinion, but long live humor! Show rating: 3.5
The Police Ghost In The Machine
Voto:
Great review. I still give this album four stars for the effort they put into searching for new sounds so as not to repeat themselves.
Cochi e Renato Ritornare alle 17
Voto:
Fabulous Cochi and Renato. Masters of many comedians from the past and present. Many of their sketches are masterpieces of irony and surrealism. "L'inquilino" and "Cos'è la vita" are legendary.
Beatles Revolver
Voto:
But yes...Revolver is half-baked...the Beatles weren't worth much after all...Leonardo Da Vinci was kind of a jerk...Einstein failed math (so how could he be a genius?), Beethoven was deaf (and so he just got lucky composing what he composed)...and then potatoes don't taste like anything anymore, the half seasons are gone, politics is just a free-for-all...etcetera etcetera...
