@ the punisher... it would be pointless to explain why... you wouldn't understand! @ ilpenes (sob)... those who don't appreciate it could refrain from commenting like core-a-core did, or comment without curses and various curses.

this album is pure pop culture: capturing with ease across the most diverse musical genres, offering them in a light and danceable mix, addressing important themes with superficiality, blending various communication realms without favoring music or imagery or anything else, and above all, having fun. this is absolutely undeniable. whether it's a good or bad thing is another discussion. it’s clear that those who don’t love pop won’t appreciate it, but I who don’t appreciate metal wouldn’t go and tear apart reviews of the genre...

If one were to give an example of pop music, this album would certainly be the best.

yes zavorraman, music for gay people, and for those who can also listen to something that doesn't have a distorted electric guitar...

Anyway, this can’t be considered a mini-album; it’s just a product aimed at sales (in Italy it was released just before Christmas, if I’m not mistaken). It’s like yet another live album from Vasco! Fans appreciate it, while others wonder how it’s possible to spend money on something like this... (it’s worth mentioning that it only cost 7 euros). As for the quality of the remixes, I don’t find it that low; of course, at this point, he could have released American Life fully remixed, which would have been a more interesting and sensible move.

Madonna kissed Spears first and then Aguilera. The direction, right after the first kiss, zoomed in on Justin Timberlake in the audience and missed more than half of the second kiss. This meant that for the following months, all anyone talked about was the kiss between Ciccone and Spears, and people would say: oh yes, Christina, she must have kissed her too!

Dave, what a disappointment... after the great review of Bedtime Stories, I definitely expected more from this! First of all, it’s written quite poorly (if you read it with your punctuation marks, many sentences wouldn’t make sense). Then (but here the judgment is purely subjective), I completely disagree with the content. You say that a return of Madonna to dance music was expected, but I don’t think she’s ever been absent in this field: Ray of Light, Nothing Really Matters, and Beautiful Strangers seem to me like great dancefloor tracks. The album is indeed good, but you can't define it as innovative and daring! It’s good electronic pop, but it adds nothing to the genre! Mirwais Ahmadzai is certainly a great producer (so skilled that he makes the sounds of the supposed genius William Orbit seem centuries old), but there’s little musical innovation here... One example above all: Music, the beautiful lead single, is a blatant reinterpretation of some 80s hits by Prince... Nice, but not revolutionary! You can find flashes of genius (still from Mirwais, not from Veronica) in the stunning Nobody's Perfect and Paradise (which, by the way, had already appeared on the French DJ's album, showing that Madonna is really only present with her voice)... One last note on American Pie, but it's more of a curiosity: could it be that it was excluded from the Greatest Hits because it’s a cover and not an original song?
