This guy is funny, and that fifth question is truly a gem, Giov, I hope for you that you'll never accept a dinner invitation from him ;)))

I have one of their records, um... "handmade," and I must say that at the time it was a very enjoyable listen, especially because it’s outside of my usual listening habits. They should (tradunt) have recorded an album dedicated to the music of Kurt Weill (I see September Song and Alabama Song among the tracks... mmmmmmmm) and this really intrigues me, but I still haven't had the time and means to delve into the topic that interests me a lot. Regards :))

I, on the other hand, do not know it, but I found the description truly fascinating, in-depth, passionate, and full of ideas. The conclusion is worthy of being framed. I look forward to hearing opinions from those who are familiar with this album.

Dear Mirador, rereading carefully, it doesn't seem to me that Primiballi's "ranking" held such a hierarchical value as you attribute to it. But even if it did, it wouldn’t be such a big deal. Rather, it must be said that it would be desirable to read in this space not only more or less legitimate critiques of the passersby, but also some more constructive contributions. So here’s a piece of news for you: no one is stopping you from talking to us, either here or with specific reviews, about the jazz pianists you love and know; you can always do so if you wish to share with us what you know. Otherwise, there will really be little to nothing left on the discussion table. Bye.

Oh, rather than giving them for now, I’ll take your suggestions: “Big Bill Broonzy, Elmore James, Howlin Wolf” I consider them valuable, thx :)

I subscribe to Mr Nobody, but in the end, with the integration of the comments, this page isn't bad.

Indeed, damn, the production from that time is truly incredible. I don't know if you've seen the various box sets from Columbia that have been released in recent years. I got the one with the complete sessions of Kind Of Blue with Coltrane... spectacular. Then I gave away (a selfless gift, Homer Simpson style) the complete sessions of Bitches Brew... but it would take another lifetime to listen to it all properly :))

I can't listen to the second disc, but only because I still can't get the first one out of the player (repeat all). I'm really enjoying it a lot. In particular, I've fallen in love with the medieval "Bertie," the words ("sweet kisses/ three wishes/ lovely bertie") and the cello... beautiful. I think I'll be listening to it for a long time in these cold weeks, so thank you for pointing it out, gabbox.
