I understand, it's just that some comparisons sometimes scare me :)

No geek is another Jim White, it's a collaboration on a 2004 album "drill a hole in that substrate and tell me what you see". You can find the review and some samples by using the magical search engine in the top right corner. Bye :)

A few days ago, there was a concert by Andrea Parodi with Tazenda near my area. It had been years since they played together due to some disagreements over the group's musical choices, some really terrible ones... I have always thought that Andrea's were more right and interesting. Let's just hope he can continue on his path and his career, but to do so he will have to win a difficult battle. Andrea has stomach cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy for a few months. Strength and courage, Andrea.

Peter Gabriel So

Um... I have a couple of questions: what are these useless things that Gabriel talks about? Also, where exactly did you perceive "ethno-planetary melodic fusions very similar to those futuristic ones of the early Pink Floyd"? Because... while reading, I really had the impression that you were talking about a different album.

fosca!!!! every now and then we see you :) I hadn't seen Sylvian's comment. I really like the last one (more than this) for its dreamy folk vibe, which is different and a bit unexpected. I have to say that it hasn't tired me out yet, but "masterizzabile" could work and "cute" is a pretty fitting adjective.

Odradek also listens to Jim White's album where Aimee sings in a beautiful song "Static on the radio," but anyway, the whole album is really lovely. Bye.

I have to tell you the truth, listening to some samples felt like being catapulted into an episode of Starsky and Hutch ;))) I want to give you a listening recommendation that came to mind while reading this; I think you might like it quite a bit, my dear: Uri Caine & Bedrock: Shelf-Life (winter & winter 2005), maybe you’ll come across it in a stall, carelessly abandoned by some crazy person :)
