Exodus Another Lesson In Violence

At least mention "Impaler." It hadn't been released yet at the time; it was a song preceding "Bonded By Blood." Cheers to everyone.
Fabio Concato Zio Tom

I know Concato because my wife has the album with the song "Guido Piano." I remember that when "Giannutri" came out, he stated in an interview that that little island was ideal for a weekend of furious sex, or something like that. A nice character and a nice review.

Good job Tepes, now I can comment too. I've owned this album for years and I love James's solos, and the growl seems fine to me as well. However, I have to admit that the drumming speed doesn't satisfy me, which is why I never really delved into this record; I recognize its value, but it doesn’t really excite me that much. Of course, in my comments, I always bring up the drummers, but this album lacks a punchy intro like "Living Monstrosity", where you feel the wall and the Death cloud coming forward with Billy pushing the double pedal to the max: before "Every day...", sung by the great Chuck, you could feel the heavy rolls piercing through your bones. Here, maybe this album misses those transitions, but fundamentally it's a more than decent work. Anyway, you wrote a nice review with a juicy analysis from a connoisseur of Death Metal. It's been a while since I listened to it, but I perfectly remember the double bass of the opening track: the latter has the same title as a song by Running Wild released as a single (with a beautiful cover, namely "Hang, Drawn & Quartered"). I agree with Cronos about the horrible cover, a distant relative of "Endless Pain" by Kreator; at least there, the barbaric infernal soldier was in motion. My rating should be understood as 3.5. Bye!

Well, you could read the reviews by ocram or Bartleboom, or Tepes's review on Autopsy, or those by the green manalishi, just to name a few really good reviewers, without taking anything away from the others. Just to have some examples. Bye!
Accept I'm A Rebel
Voto:
@thank you green and congratulations on your reviews.@Bartleboom I’ve listened to the first three albums by Accept quite a bit, and I could also review "Breaker," but it’s probably best not to overdo it. Basically, I chose this one because it has a lot of strange details, because it’s unknown, and maybe because I felt more comfortable describing it. It’s always a pleasure to read your comments. Bye!
Saxon Denim & Leather

In my first year of high school, in 1984, I heard people talking about Saxon, AC/DC, and Venom, but since I was a bit of a slowpoke and blindly listened to "only" dance music, apart from Dire Straits and Police that I discovered thanks to my mother, I must say. Coming out of the tunnel around 1990, I started listening to Metal, and I got this album on vinyl along with the next one, but then I lost interest. I listened to "Wheels Of Steel," and I liked it; I read various reviews of Saxon's subsequent albums and decided not to dig deeper. Certainly now the sound seems dated, as Bartle says, but in the early '80s, it was a nice punch. Good review, anyway.
Saxon Strong Arm Of The Law

Amazing record. My vinyl is almost disintegrated, but I keep listening to it: simple yet intriguing riffs. The title track is heavenly, but also "To Hell d Back Again," which keeps repeating. Pete Gill's speed can later be found in the Motorhead's "Orgasmatron." A shout-out to Byff, who has an aggressive and unique voice. Well done, green!

Beautiful review, which shares many details that I wasn't aware of. There are excellent songs, but I prefer the next one, "Fly By Night." I detest John Rutsey.
Rush Caress Of Steel

I love the zeppelin-like bass in "Lakeside Park" (I would say à la "Ramble On") and the riff from "Bastille Day" cloned by AC/DC for "Walk All Over You". Other than that, they are three great musicians inspired. Well done!

Well done green, this is the only record I own by this guitarist. Great observations, I must say, that I completely agree with. I really like "Desert Song". Bye!
