Van Morrison Inarticulate Speech Of The Heart

What can I say? If your turntable is still working, try to refresh your memory: I think it's worth it.

I correct myself: I wrote "it's such a stranger," which can mean "it's a strange thing" or "it's so strange." The concept doesn't change. I take this opportunity to say that singing with B.B. King doesn't automatically give you a blues license; otherwise, Toto Cutugno would be a soul genius since he duetted with Ray Charles.

Blues is so foreign to the world of Adelmo Fornaciari from Roncocesi (RE) that he doesn’t even know how to spell it, and in fact, he calls it blue's. This doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a decent and pleasant Italian commercial pop album (disguised as blues), and the review isn't bad either, it’s just a bit too celebratory.

I know, it’s tough to see potentially smart artists throw it all away for a bit of money, but it’s not an isolated case. Look at Lucio Dalla, how he started and how he ended up. Look at Antonello Venditti, who is now almost indistinguishable from Ramazzotti. Staying true to oneself can come at the expense of audience numbers, but not by much: Guccini, De Gregori, and Fossati aren’t exactly starving, but on the flip side, they’ve never sold out. Not to mention Paolo Conte, who has been wonderfully the same for 30 years, despite the trends.

Massimof, in the album "Che Dio ti benedica" there wasn't just "che fiica" but also "Mal di te," "Sicily" (featuring Chick Corea), and more. However, I didn’t say it’s a masterpiece, just an attempt to hold one’s head up. An album rated 3, in debaserian numbers, nothing more.

It's not recent that Pino Daniele has angered his long-time fans: as you yourself pointed out, the slip into the ordinary dates back to "Ferry Boat," which is now around twenty years old. Then there were a few last gasps ("Mascalzone latino," "Un uomo in blues," "Che Dio ti benedica"), but the "trend" was already set (Alas). Great review.

A classic that somehow slipped by the antiquarian of debaser (that would be me). A slightly less brilliant puntinicaz than usual, but still featuring a nice touch like that of the link(s). The one related to the word "appesantirvi" is beautiful (but where did you find it?)

Ah, thank goodness: we're still on a site that talks about music. At first, it didn't seem like it.

But... are we still on debaser or at the zoo?

Mariaelena, a piece of advice: don’t listen to the usual two or three idiots who are even ashamed of their own nicknames (and indeed don’t authenticate themselves). Keep at it, with whatever style you choose, visionary like that of “Ovo” or maybe a bit more precise and descriptive. But insist: I’m telling you this as someone who has been here for a year and has submitted over 70 reviews. You’ll always find some idiot who wants to bring you down for fun (sometimes anonymous, sometimes even hidden), but the satisfaction that Debaser provides is still far greater than the reasons for getting angry.
