Fabrizio De André Le nuvole
Voto:
I don't agree, this is a great album, like all of Faber's albums. The spoken intro of "Le nuvole" is spine-tingling, and it contains true gems like "Don Raffaè," "Nova Eloxia," and "Ottocento." In short, an album that leaves you with a strong desire for rain!
Fabrizio De André Anime salve
Voto:
It's a beautiful album, and Ivano adds his own touch to it. I don't find the lyrics enigmatic at all; on the contrary, it's another masterpiece from the greatest Italian singer-songwriter, a poet who knew how to play. Unfortunately, the greatest have left us; he, along with Lucio, deserves a place in the Olympus of Italian music, and God wanted them for Himself!
Great Faber, I miss you so much!!!
Lucio Battisti La sposa occidentale
Voto:
Battisti continues the turnaround he began with "è già"; he is light-years ahead of all the other artists, not just in Italy. Just think about how his songs, when compared to the contemporary ones of that time, were already ahead. Consider songs like "Ancora tu," "Dove arriva quel cespuglio," "Si viaggiare," "L'interprete di un film," "Ami ancora Elisa," "Ho un anno in più"—crafted with simple guitar or bass riffs, they were light-years apart from the music of the era!!! And the "dischi bianchi" are all masterpieces in their own right, with Panella contributing his genius: "Ah come sono vivace come uno che tace" or "Abbiamo un solo limite l'amore che ci divide," or the greatness of man in "Dirigi una quinta qualsiasi," which I believe refers to Beethoven! Lucio was a genius, and all his records deserve to be listened to at least once.
Claudio Baglioni Oltre (Cd1-Cd2)
Voto:
I embrace all music genres and I’m not afraid to admit that I have all of Baglioni's albums, but I also have all the Pink Floyd, all the Police, all the Beatles, all the Led Zeppelin, all the Doors. It really annoys me when people have prejudices. Baglioni, among the Italian artists who have tried the hardest to innovate, has created this great double album. Moreover, IO SONO QUI is, in my opinion, his masterpiece. Let yourself be fooled by Vasco Rossi, who hasn't made a decent album since "C'è chi dice no," or by other people from today. Baglioni, after De André, Battisti, and Battiato, along with Pino Daniele, belongs to the elite of Italian music, whether you like it or not!!!!!!
Lucio Battisti Don Giovanni
Voto:
for me it is the first of the masterpieces of the new era, it paves the way that will be followed in the subsequent albums, among which I love "l'apparenza" and "la sposa occidentale," Battisti was a genius and I love the last Battisti as much as I love the first. I don't agree with your low rating!!!
