I used to do it like I do now with CDs or records; I would place them in a way that would remind me and I tried to group them by genre.........

Thanks to 5 for mentioning the legendary tapes, I still have about 300, I think......... Ruggeri never said anything to me......

Those who criticize beyond the traveler or I am here understand little about music; they are objectively great records.

I remember that I immediately bought the Ellepi (I was 19 years old), a beautiful album and among the 4 records by Pooh that I have, I'm totally into pop rock....... (what memories)

Well, I could tell you the same thing about Baglioni from his early days up to his penultimate album (it's me, actually, I didn't like much and neither did QGPA), there's an abyss musically speaking. I'll listen to D'Angelo and then I'll let you know...

I get excited about Baglioni too, not just him... What music do you listen to instead? I can't list all the music I listen to; I have 350 CDs and 130 LPs of all genres, including jazz... hard rock, classic... I've been buying records since I think you maybe weren't even born yet (I'm a bit old). That doesn’t make me a music expert, but someone who has listened to and continues to listen to a lot, yes... Music depends on the moment in your life; you might discover that the music you listen to today, maybe in the future, you won’t listen to anymore. But D'Angelo, who??? Look, I don’t want to start an argument; what I want to tell you is that (at least for me) I don’t like to confine myself to just one genre...

trying to play Baglioni's songs will drive you crazy
following his chords, he has always tried to reinvent himself, and this works to his advantage. Check out what was going on in 1974, and maybe you'll change your mind; I'm talking about Italy... I consider him inferior to De André, Battisti, Guccini (some albums), and Battiato... the current singers are not just one, but two notches below... (excluding il capo and Vasco's latest).

for me the Genesis end with "Selling England" the greatest progressive rock album for me.......the post-Gabriel Genesis are a completely different thing.......great pop music abacab.........their best.....I don't know the album in question.....

Unlike many fans, I prefer Baglioni's latest albums (Oltre, Io sono qui, Viaggiatore) to those from his earlier years. I believe that the best one is Strada facendo. If someone has a thirty-year-long success, we must acknowledge a bit of talent... The massacre that Italian music suffers on this site doesn't find my agreement...

I want to preface this by saying that I grew up with Baglioni, so I am biased and not objective. I find myself repeating this in front of many of today’s singers; he is not just one or two, but two or three notches above. However, his best records are yet to come, starting with... io sono qui and viaggiatore. I would love to hear what my good friend Primi thinks about it.
