Guillemots Through The Windowspane

In my opinion, Addison, you also fell for a fake with "Red" by the Guillemots; there was a fake circulating online. Read here: T. - T. - Recensione di Kid_A
Hi,

Vampire Weekend Vampire Weekend

I will be happy the day we can judge an album without thinking too much about how unbearably cool or trendy the musicians in question or their average audience are. Vampire Weekend is one of the most pleasant and (hear, hear) INTELLIGENT listens I've had since the beginning of the year, and it would be silly to deny it just because of our dislike for striped t-shirts or similar trifles.
What someone above said is true; over the long run, the album loses a lot of its shine. This is its only real flaw compared to other debuts like those of The Strokes or Franz Ferdinand, which made me scream small miracles. And I haven't changed my mind about those albums, even though both bands, partly due to certain poses, have gradually started to annoy me quite a bit. A bit of intellectual honesty and less nose-sniffing wouldn't hurt. That’s the very spirit of our ziabice. A hundred of these (her) reviews. 4 + 4

Nosebleed, what kind of questions are you asking? Of course not! Didn't you realize it's all a joke? It's a pure optical illusion, and you totally fell for it. Try staring at the center of the review for 10 seconds, then step back 30 cm from the screen and look at it again. You’ll see the real content: the review of the latest "Cadaveric Crematorium." And among the de-generes, "Brutal Death Metal" will rightfully appear. Ah ah ah, indie-pop & electronic, can you imagine? Only you could believe that!
Fuck Buttons Street Horrrsing

Oh my, what a tough year: between Fuck Buttons, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band, Have a Nice Life and the gang, you are making me listen to some crazy stuff. It takes a certain kind of physique to handle these records, and frankly, I’m past that age. Better to make room for the young ones like this reviewer here. Tonight I’ll whip up some semolina and put on Belle & Sebastian.
Broken Social Scene You Forgot It In People

Easycure (12) had understood everything: "Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me." I'm getting there with guilty delay.
Sidney Lumet Onora Il Padre E La Madre
Voto:
Mmm... I too, like someone above, disagree with the "perfect narrative structure"; the screenplay has some holes and more than one contrivance, and often a certain excess of emphasis ends up having the opposite effect... that is, it elicits a smirk. Overall, a well-made film, showing the touch of a master like Lumet, but five stars are absolutely an exaggeration.
Beth Gibbons & Rustin Man Out Of Season

Did you get struck by lightning on the way to Bristol? Come on, take a trip somewhere else as well... Coming back to this, it doesn’t really seem like the ideal album to "forget your worries," in fact, I think it’s one of the darkest records I own.
Get Well Soon Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon

ah ah...the proposal is intriguing and the source quite reliable. And then there’s the mysterious charm of the Carneade of the moment...let’s go try it!
Hot Chip Made In The Dark

Yes, you're right, it definitely leaves you speechless... but maybe, just maybe... mmm... I'm not sure it's that bad after all... try giving it a few more chances... it reveals itself over time.

sorry for the above, a joke from my browser's cache....
