Deep Purple Burn

wonderful disc, containing a series of unrepeatable gems. honest review
Black Label Society Mafia

Yes, the album isn't much, especially compared to Zakk's solo debut... that was a real atomic bomb...
Rainbow Rising

Rising is an absolute masterpiece, definitely a milestone, if only for the fact that it had a massive influence on a multitude of bands that came in the following years. Many, however, forget that "Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow," the debut of Rainbow, is a stunning album... The review, however, is so-so.
I Pooh Uomini Soli
Voto:
Beautiful review for a beautiful album. I've been saying for years that Poh are a fantastic band, even though I'm not a fan of theirs, and if they had been born in England, they would have definitely achieved worldwide success. As usual, the herd doesn't understand a thing (in both senses), as you can see from the messages above. If you don't like Poh, then don't listen to them and mind your own business, but as always, people just fill their mouths with nonsense. It’s nice to see that those who proclaim themselves to be so "musically open" are actually more closed-minded than a Taliban.
Hardcore Superstar Bad Sneakers And A Piná Colada

How was the concert? I saw them in Marcon and I have to say they were amazing!
Hardcore Superstar Bad Sneakers And A Piná Colada

A slightly exaggerated review, but it definitely makes you want to listen to the album. I have their latest (master)piece, along with a few scattered songs from the other albums, and I've seen them live a couple of times (the first in 2001 at Pedro...), but at this point, a thoughtful listening of BSAAPC becomes mandatory.
Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death
Voto:
The album isn’t bad; after all, like all artists who have been on the scene for over 20 years, Iron Maiden are making their music for their fans, and that’s fair enough. But the review is a fake; it can’t be true, come on, let’s not kid ourselves…
Deep Purple Live In Concert 1972-73

You made me really want to get it as a Christmas gift :) I already have everything on CD but the thrill of the DVD is tempting me...
Vasco Rossi Gli Spari Sopra
Voto:
for p.p.farina: all of Vasco's collaborators, from Elmi to Solieri, have always maintained that Vasco's great ability is melodic, meaning he can extract wonderful melodies from rough sketches or barely structured pieces. That Guido Elmi is an excellent composer (and perhaps an even better arranger) is another story. Anyway, "Gli Spari Sopra" remains an excellent album, with an absolute peak in "Valzer di Gomma." All the controversies about Vasco are perfectly fine; it's typical of the great ones (who are great even in their flaws).
Jane's Addiction Ritual De Lo Habitual
Voto:
beautiful album, although a tad inferior to Nothing Shocking, which remains the absolute masterpiece of JA. If only they would release albums like this again...
