Iron Maiden: Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
The best Maiden album and one of the best overall when it comes to metal. To hell with certain snobby little brats that infest the site.

Dear The Seventh Son of the Seventh Son is a great album, a concept album for those who may not know, but alas, it cannot be claimed that it is the absolute best. Personally, I consider it among the best, given that it is quite complicated for me, given the enormous esteem that binds us (me and Iron Maiden), to establish one album over the others. In order of arrival, I would say that Killers stands half a step above all, but it also depends on the affection for the liberating message.
  • Absolutely not.

Fantastic album. Even though for me The Number is legendary... Iron Maiden with Bruce are all worth listening to from the first to the last track.
But who are these bimbominkia you're referring to? I would love to DeAmarli..... ;)

Killers a notch above the rest, not even visible through binoculars.

@[Falloppio] Go to the Iron Maiden page on Debaser, and you'll find a ton of snobby little brats.

The binoculars poorly pair with the gas mask. A man of little faith, Killers is an unparalleled masterpiece. Now return to your asbestos clean-ups and let us experts discuss the case with the appropriate knowledge.

Come on, everyone has their own tastes; I also prefer the Killers, but I must say that the albums with Di Anno are a story of their own, at least that's how I see it.

@[spiritello_s] for me no, the songs aren't as inspired as the first one, for example, even though Wrathchild is a masterpiece.

You instead go back to the cornices of the buildings and, between one poop and another, on the heads of unfortunate humans, repentant and convinced that Seventh Son is the best.

It is true that without the first two albums we wouldn't have reached Seventh Son. It's obvious that there’s a historical path that has allowed for the evolution of certain musical situations while keeping its trademark intact. But the beauty of every album from the legendary number 1s of classic metal is that you can listen to it again after 37 years (Killers, I reiterate) and feel the same emotions as when you were a kid putting the cassette in the walkman. Today, it’s easy to mumble about what’s better or worse, but "at the time," Somewhere in Time hadn’t even been released yet, so to me it makes sense that the merits should be "weighed" and contextualized with obvious temporal awareness.

If we play the game of beautiful songs, then in Killers they are all stunning: The Ides of March (instrumental), Wrathchild, Murders in the Rue Morgue, Another Life, Genghis Khan (instrumental), Innocent Exile, Killers, Prodigal Son (!), Purgatory (!!), Drifter. They even made a drawing for Purgatory featuring half of Eddie's face and half of the Devil's to emphasize the success of the piece. But I repeat, they are all masterpieces. Then there are those with earwax in their ears, but that's their problem.

Epoch-making record for heavy music, not like that crap from AC/DC, Melvins, and Kyuss.

Breaking the Law is the story of the HM.
Of course, you always have to throw a pile of shit at someone, Judas Priest!!!

"epoch-making record for heavy music, not like that shit from '..." And then three names thrown out without any logic, in perfect bar sport style after four or five rancid white wines.

The best Italian album of all time according to "Rolling Stone," then they place Mob Rules by Sabbath and Number of the Beast by Maiden at number 1, but what kind of cola have they "drunk"?

1 the number of the beast is for involuntary confinement. 1 the reigning crowd is for social services in San Patrignano. As for fiascorosso, I’d say you can tell a good morning by its cover.

I agree with you, but Rolling Stones, you know, must have made this ranking based on sales, and in fact, if I'm not mistaken, this bollicine has sold quite a bit here.

Even worse then. If the yardstick for judgment were based solely on sales, they would deserve the death penalty.

In that ranking, albums like "Don Giovanni" by Lucio Battisti and "Sole nella Pioggia" by Alice are missing, albums that are considered exceptional by the world’s critics.
