High school ranking, I would say, the student seems to be paying attention even during religion class, congratulations :)

I agree with Buddha in front of Hammill... unwatchable, that "nothing compared to Dylan" I don't like either.

Beethoven in the 20s is a must.

@progrock: yeah, I'm in high school, is it that obvious??? xD
Anyway, from a musical standpoint, Dylan bores me... I can't help it. De André, on the other hand, is on another level, at least musically.
@Emerson: Buddha, yeah I think he’ll take a step back... but right now I’m reading a book about Tibet and India, I think that's why... I won't include Beethoven until I've listened to a good number of his works :)

It is evident from the nickname number, and the ranking also shows that it is a classic address, I suppose :)

I would include Nietzsche and for religion also Saint Paul, since he was the one who made Catholicism "universal" and launched it definitively ;)

I'm looking forward to studying it well (I'm about to start fourth year) of St. Paul. I remember that reading some of his writings, I found myself quite at odds :D for example when he talks about women...

ah ok, anyway now from a humanistic point of view (especially philosophy and literature) I think the most interesting stuff starts, so if you like these subjects you will have fun :)

"De André, however, is on another level, at least musically." ..but what are you smoking...it's the exact opposite. You want to compare the "wild sound of mercury" of Dylan with De André's pathetic arrangements...come on...and I suggest you include the great Beethoven...absolutely the greatest musician of all time!

I love both Dylan and Faber even though they are not comparable. They have 2 different ways of conceiving. Dylan is certainly rougher and more engaging, but you can't say that De André has pathetic arrangements. Maybe some of his older music has aged a bit more prematurely, but in the '80s he achieved a refinement and meticulousness that consecrated him.

But what a mercury sound... He was singing the song and the band followed him along as it came, live recording. If the accompaniment is decent, it's definitely not his merit, but that of The Band... Zero competence... then, even if it's important, fine, but don’t tell me he has better arrangements than someone who has studied music, especially better.
