  Great, you even dug up Slauter Xstroyes! I also really like Mercyful Fate; I think "Melissa" is one of the best albums ever in traditional heavy metal! I'm not crazy about Savatage, although I admit that "The Wake of Magellan" has always had its charm! A really bold ranking that doesn’t care about the more famous bands and mainly seeks out the great groups from the underground; something I appreciate a lot!

    I must admit, however, that I am definitely ignorant about NWOBHM; I am more familiar with epic metal bands or similar.

    Well, in any case, I think the ranking features quite a variety of genres, despite a prevalence of the epic style, which as we know is a traditional genre, so the term heavy metal can be associated with both the NWOBHM movement and the epic! I find it to be an accurate ranking, in which you've mentioned the names you like the most! And I repeat, for a connoisseur of the underground like myself, it’s more enjoyable to read a ranking like this than to find various Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest, and so on!
