  Post-Punk without Wire, Pere Ubu, Television, P.I.L. (strange that these are missing, they seem obscure enough for your tastes, I think) and we can also add Suicide, I just can't see it. Nice ranking, huh? Great names, but it feels more like a mix of New-Wave/Dark-Wave/Gothic with a bit of Post-Punk, but without many fundamental names from the Post-Punk scene. I know how your tastes lean, but what do DCD (immense) have to do with PP, for instance? However, if I judge the ranking solely by the names present without considering PP, I can only congratulate you.

  I am mostly oriented towards darkwave, as you rightly pointed out. I like Television and PIL, but I wanted to highlight other bands. Hats off to the legendary Suicide! However, they emerged in '77 (like Television), while for me, the new wave begins in '79 with "Unknown Pleasures" and "Second Edition". My humblest and debatable opinion.
