Christian Death

Christian Death is an American gothic/death-rock band formed in Los Angeles by Rozz Williams. The early Rozz-led records are widely regarded as genre-defining; after Rozz's departure and later death (1998) Valor Kand led a continuing but controversial version of the band.

Early lineup led by Rozz Williams produced seminal albums (Only Theatre of Pain, Catastrophe Ballet). Rozz Williams (birth name Roger Alan Painter) died in 1998.
