All great bands, there's no denying it. Maybe I would put Queen in the top 10 of the '80s.

Well :) I asked because, in my opinion, it feels odd to see Jethro Tull and E,L&P above Van Der Graaf Generator, but then again, the ranking is yours ;)

what to say....given the names I don't really agree. If anything, Genesis would personally rank higher for me. But it's all a matter of taste. From the names, I pleasantly notice the wide range of interests, especially the one for progressive!

Absolutely true. Now that I think about it, I would definitely include Elton John in this ranking. What he did from '70 to '76 is incredible. Elton John (1970) and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are two of my favorite albums from the '70s and beyond.
