In the Picci rankings, it was clear that Rock-Blues was important, with all the top spots occupied; here it’s less obvious: the top 4 positions are for jazz, or rather for 4 different styles of jazz(!) Do you like free jazz or big band? The rest is a string of groups, often mediocre, with notable absences. Again, I repeat: if the criterion is: everything I like, just pretend I didn’t write anything. But if we want to create a slightly more universal ranking, well, there’s a lot missing and too much of what shouldn’t be there.

It's not a bad ranking, even though the Rolling Stones should have been higher and bands like: Beatles, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Genesis, or U2, but also the Clash or the legendary Platters, I would certainly have included them.
