Excuse me, first of all, I want to say that I’m not a scholar and I haven’t read many books in my life (modesty can be a virtue in some cases). But I still want to share my thoughts and ask you a question: do you think Tolkien is a great writer???? I’m almost finished reading The Lord of the Rings with great effort; in my opinion, being extremely descriptive and having invented a literary genre doesn’t necessarily mean being a talented writer. I don’t want to stir up a hornet’s nest, but honestly, I’ve read much more interesting books. more
The Italian ABBA. Obvious but I couldn't resist. more
Bleahh, how disgusting.... this girl takes herself too seriously. more
They were great, Mark Knopfler, Mr. Guitarist, Tunnel of Love sends shivers down my spine. more
the best of Italic rock from the 80s, then ups and downs, more downs.
p.s. pulù gets on my nerves more
artistically finished since the black album, even though they never drove me crazy in their best years: ride the lightning, master of puppets. I definitely prefer Testament even if they copied them; still the inventors of thrash metal, who then end up releasing stuff like lulu... mah more
Camel are a cornerstone of classic prog, perhaps less known than King Crimson, Yes, Genesis, and many others. I really like them. more
In the past, I was a fan of his, but now I am not for various reasons..... Even though Scaruffi (music critic) definitely exaggerated in his criticism, I can't say he is entirely wrong.... Many disasters, many masterpieces, which perhaps wouldn't be without certain collaborators. R.I.P. REST IN PEACE DAVID. more
Maybe one day it will be regarded as the most beautiful punk album of the '90s. more
the little ball so beloved by that little creature called coprophagus more
they are (or were) the history of rock and contemporary music, precursors of experimental music, space rock, and progressive. Milestone albums, The Dark Side of the Moon, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Meddle, etc. Fantastic live performances, especially those from the '80s, well played and with excellent audio quality, thanks to the sound engineers (Alan Parsons is truly great, even with his future project). Unfortunately, as far as I'm concerned, talking about studio albums (from Wish You Were Here onwards), I just can't digest them; they're too slow, redundant, and depressed. Still, they made history. more
in my humble opinion, Radiohead are, as often happens in the world of rock and beyond, a frightfully overrated band. Not long ago, I listened to The King of Limbs, an abominable thing. more
Oh, guys! This album is despised by critics and ignored by the public. BUT I LOVE IT! more
Band of 5 (with about twenty fewer records) more
What can I say, after delivering a handful of masterpieces, and seeing that practically no one cared about them, they even got tired of making more. Can't blame them. Listen to Mogwai and Sigur Ros, you deserve it. more
Funky to the krauts. more
A voice of rare beauty, minimal arrangements to enhance its interpretation. more

Love cooled by melancholy ("Soft as Snow but Warm Inside"), the urgency of an ambiguous desire ("Feed Me with Your Kiss"), the multiple implications of femininity in the distortion of space-time ("Several Girls Galore"). Isn't that something? more
A sweet whisper barely emerges from the noise of an industrial sawmill ("To Here Knows When"), an obsessive hiss weaves into the roar of a supersonic plane ("I only said"), a sudden thrill breaks through in a savage noise cacophony ("What You Want"). No, without love. more
