Arctic Monkeys
2 phenomenal debut albums (along with their singles and b-sides): powerful, fast, vibrant sound. Then, from Humbug to the latest Suck It And See, emptiness. Evolving, yes, but they've become another band, completely forgetting their beginnings. They now play another kind of music, and not even that original, in my opinion. And, by the way, no one has managed to sound like the old Arctic yet, despite the myriad of bands trying to imitate them. more

Ennio Morricone
I am convinced that he will be remembered in the history of music.

@the avenger In my opinion, Ennio is far, far better than John Williams. However, I also admire Maestro Williams; the soundtrack of Star Wars is a true masterpiece, and his music marked my childhood. Not to mention the themes for Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, and many others. But for me, Ennio is on a higher qualitative level. more
