Rush
If only they had had a real singer, what a great band they would have been; unfortunately, Jedi Lee's voice is almost unbearable for me. more
John McTiernan -Die Hard-Duri a Morire
Third chapter of the "Die Hard" saga. McTiernan returns to directing, the same director of the excellent first chapter, and the result is a great action film, slightly inferior to "Die Hard" but definitely superior to the bland second chapter. The ironic and humorous component is strong, with good performances from Willis, Jackson, and Irons (who is better in many other films), and the special effects are fantastic. Overall, it’s a good film; McTiernan confirms his status as a master of the action movie. more

The Who -Live At Leeds
There's no Who's Next, Tommy, or Quadrophenia that compares: this is by far the best album by the Who (complete double version) as well as one of the greatest live albums in the history of rock. more
Daft Punk -Discovery
Prefacing that I like Daft Punk... I would like to understand how you approach an album like this. I mean, practically 90% is taken word for word from disco funk songs of the 70s (arrangements included). This leaves me quite puzzled! Is it the allure of postmodernism? Or is it simply the most successful plagiarism in the history of humanity? more

Loredana Berté
Personalities like Loredana Bertè's will remain unique and unrepeatable, due to their history, depth, and interpretative ability. more
Daft Punk
If it weren't for their iconic helmets: an EMO and a stoner. But talented... cleverness and a lot of talent. The only question is: how many doubles do they use on their tours? (do you think it was really them at the Traffic Free Festival 2012 in Turin, huh!). more
The Byrds -Fifth Dimension
One of the masterpieces of Folk Rock. In some moments, the first effects of the future acid hangover can also be glimpsed ["I See You", "Eight Miles High"], which will become more present in Younger Than Yesterday and explode in The Notorious Byrd Brothers, my absolute favorite. more
The Groundhogs -Split

Franco Battiato -La Voce del Padrone
Well, it's definitely a great pop album, but I can barely stand it anymore; I used to like it more, but it doesn't say much to me now. 3/3.5. more
