Premiata Forneria Marconi
The best Italian band of all time? Probably yes. Certainly, in a list of five bands deserving of that title, they are right up there. more

The Progressives
A few truly beautiful albums scattered in an ocean of boredom made up of endless suites, useless baroque excesses, and various kitsch displayed to mask the atavistic lack of the prog musicians: they are unable to compose songs. A simple and perfect song like Willin' by Little Feat, a prog band could never produce, and this demonstrates their incapacity. (with some exceptions.) more
Paola Folli
One of the shames of singing in Italy!! more

Pooh
"Pooh" is the name of the second lineup. The first was called "Hhhhrrrraaaaaahgghhhhhhh". more
Pooh -Poohlover
The "commercial" Pooh from the subsequent albums are infinitely better than these who try to be serious and then fall into laughable things like "Straniero venuto dal tempo" and "Padre del fuoco del tuono bla bla," which speak for themselves. Aside from "Pierre" and the piece sung by D'Orazio ("Fare, Sfare..."), this album is an incredibly tedious trip. more
Roy Harper -Stormcock
One of the most beautiful albums of the '70s. And to think that, in my opinion, he made at least two that were even better. more
Eddie Van Halen

Unwound
An incredible band, often overlooked. From the abrasive and chaotic noise of their early days, then venturing into almost Math territories [Challenge for a Civilized Society], they reached the end of their career in 2001 with one of the most beautiful, dense, personal, and dreamlike works in history ["Leaves Turn Inside You"]... Immense. more
Paul Kantner & Jefferson Starship -Blows Against the Empire
The musical peak and the last ray of the hippie counterculture that began with the *summer of love*, and one of the high points of rock music in general. more
Eddie Van Halen
To make it perform at its best, it had to be limited so that its superpowers wouldn't take over and destroy everything. The gut-puller David Lee Roth was in this sense the ideal; with a star like him, no one else would dare to want to be the leading lady. So, Eddie had to learn to control his enormous energy and channel it for the band, thus becoming the DEFINITIVE metal guitarist. Then Sammy Hagar came along and ruined everything. more

The Nothing emulsified with the Void and preserved under high vacuum!! more
Pink Floyd
In my opinion, there's no best album because they are all beautiful and unique in their own way. Anyway, what I'm listening to right now is The Division Bell :-) more
Eddie Van Halen
A very personal opinion, fans, please don’t take offense. He embodies everything I dislike in a guitarist: mind-numbing tapping solos, a barrage of notes without any sense, technique for technique's sake, loud rock, and nothing more. He has sparked a generation of guitarists who, in my view, should be listed among magicians rather than musicians. more
