Staind

After the debut of Tormented (which I personally found good but a little repetitive), they composed one of the most underrated albums in the genre, Dysfunction, which I consider truly remarkable, sincere, and definitely emotional. Together with Break The Cycle, it turned out to be a really beautiful work, also because of the memories I carry thanks to these two pieces. Then gradually they fell into the conventional, but later they managed to make a great comeback with the self-titled album.

Staind

Staind is an American rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. Reviews emphasize their early-2000s breakthrough with “Dysfunction” and especially “Break the Cycle,” their association with Fred Durst/Flip Records, and lyrics focused on dark personal themes; later albums are often judged against that peak, with notable comeback claims for the 2011 self-titled and 2023 “Confessions Of The Fallen.”
