J Mascis -Several Shades of Why
Man, this album enchanted me a couple of years ago. I'm listening to it again today, and I find it damn beautiful. J disconnects and becomes the songwriter... more

Hüsker Dü -Flip Your Wig
Great songs. Shitty production. And I love shitty productions. But an album recorded poorly has to be done in a way that slaps. That said, it’s still a great album. more
Colosseum -The grass Is greener
American desuitted version of Valentyne with some powerful new pieces... A DISCO!!! more
Fleetwood Mac -Live in Boston
After the last and greatest studio masterpiece "Then Play On" in '69, this live recording from February 1970 is the true swan song for Fleetwood Mac, the last work with Peter Green. A mind-blowing triple live album, returning to the realms of more classic Hard-Blues-Rock, here truly at sublime levels. Three nights, three discs for over three hours of great music. The first two discs are insane, with devastating firepower, while the third is softer but incredibly fun. A monumental and extraordinary live performance. more
Motorpsycho -Angels and Daemons at Play
A splendid summary of what they had done up to that point. more
Jay-Z and Linkin Park

Rage Against the Machine
The red dogs of the U$ music industry..
The machine fattens up & gives thanks, while high schoolers with their keffiyehs raise their little fists and strum "Killing In The Name" on Guitar Hero.. How many of you kiss its ass and then complain that "capitalism wins"?

Carlo Verdone
Great comedian in his youth. Really good sketches, he is excellent at portraying various types of characters. Then he started making films, many films. Actor, director. Some remarkable (Compagni di scuola, Borotalco), others so-so. But still good, what can you say, especially when compared to the other undignified comedians/actors in today's Italian scene? more
Aardvark -Aardvark
A badass album of hard-psychedelic keyboards oriented straight from 1970. Highly recommended!!! more
Jovanotti
He was the greatest European rapper of all time, and excuse me if that's not enough. Today (with De Andrè gone), he is the greatest Italian lyricist; every word a boulder, a revelation. The only one who tells it like it is, if only there were more. I'm not giving 5 stars for that little pronunciation flaw; he always says the F otherwise it would be a 5. Yes, I know I'm strict. Strict but fair. more
Kraftwerk
I still have Kraftwerk 1 and 2 at home. I was shocked the first time I listened to them... one album for a desert island? Yesterday, I would have said T.E.E, today I say COMPUTER WORLD, but it’s a photo finish; from Autobahn to The Mix, just make sure to choose wisely. If you want to save... Minimum Maximum. Dear Ralf and Florian: with a discography like that, I would sleep soundly! A treasure of humanity. more
Talk Talk
After achieving success as a synth-pop group, they could have continued to make money hand over fist... Instead, they chose to experiment, even at the cost of becoming unpopular; then, once they became unpopular, they could have returned to a more pop sound to please their label and audience... but they made the most dignified decision: to disband rather than sell out, probably aware that they had given everything they could to music! A tremendous example of dignity!!! more
