Hot Lunch
What's next after low-fi? Shit-fi, the Hot Lunch respond. Well. I guess the next step is recording a live set from a cellphone. more
Placebo
They really hit the jackpot, but Without You I'm Nothing is an amazing album. more
Luciano Ligabue
"Golden" phase 1990-1995 (even though the records from 1993 and 1994 don't fully convince me); "middle" phase, where "it still fits in," 1997-2002; after IL BARATRO, an S-Correggio-Ne! more
Supersister -To The Highest Bidder
(wrong cover) A long Canterbury dream between Caravan, symphonic poems, and jazz. "No Tree Will Grow" with a stunning brilliance. Probably the best Dutch album ever. It's hard to express how beautiful it is. more
Lucio Battisti -Emozioni
Perfect pop record, traveling between small hints of folk, progressive, and even blues. The title track is a masterpiece. more
Pavlov's Dog
Truly exceptional band.. If it weren't for the androgynous, excessive, and out-of-proportion voice of the singer that irritates me to no end.. more
Placebo
Is there really anyone capable of enduring the belting sound vibrations emitted by Brian Molko without intestinal spasms?? Well, respect!! more
Placebo
There’s much worse out there, and honestly, I’m indifferent about it. That said, they shouldn’t have touched "Running Up that Hill." more
The Cross
Everything would have gone better for this band if their debut album hadn’t been "Shove It," a Dance Rock work that, in my opinion, is the worst in their short discography. If they had debuted with an album on par with the next two, everything would have gone well! more
He-Man Meets The Rootsman
Ohhhhhhhhh let go of my arm! more
All Time Low
pop punk at its best!! they rock live! more
Tori Amos
An amazing singer-songwriter with a beautiful voice, as well as the composer of some of the best albums of the '90s ("Little Earthquakes," "Under The Pink," "Boys for Pele," and "From the Choirgirl Hotel"), plus that beautiful gem "Scarlet's Walk" in the '00s. Unfortunately, however, her downward phase has also arrived, although she still produces something noteworthy (the latest "Night of Hunters" and songs like "Ophelia" and "Maybe California"). more
Nine Inch Nails
Well done, not much to say. "The Downward Spiral" is an outstanding album and just for that they deserve a 5. The rest may not always live up to their potential, okay, but not everyone reaches a peak like that. more
Bob Dylan & The Band -The Basement Tapes - Remastered
The "basement songs," a masterpiece by Dylan and the Band for sure. The best things always come from fun and "messing around," and this album is the absolute testimony to that... more
Robin Thicke
Aphonic and also the author of one of the most cringeworthy summer hits ever (in comparison, "Waka Waka" by Shakira is a masterpiece, which says a lot!). more
Van der Graaf Generator -Vital
Great live album, but they don't seem like the VDGG of old; at times I hardly recognized them. Beautiful "Ship Of Fools," but the whole album is intense and felt, especially the leader's voice. more
Pharrell Williams
Not bad in itself, a good producer (even if he has very little imagination when it comes to making a beat for others) who alternates pleasant things ("Happy") with others that are incredibly irritating ("Blurred Lines," probably one of the worst songs ever). more
Gram Parsons -GP
Great artist, this is the purest example of it. It's a shame that drugs took him away too soon, what a great album... more
Sonic Youth -Goo
My old friend Goo.. more
