One of them played with IlTrattoreRagno, the drummer to be precise. You’ve dishonored the bad name of Pronk with this group, you piece of shit. more
Simple Minds -Life in a Day
What I would define as "Futurist Punk." A fresco of electronics and guitars that owes so much to Berlin-era Bowie, with "Low" above all else. The greatness was already evident from the start, especially when considering the uncertain beginnings of other (future) Greats – think Japan... more
The Rejected -Bet Your Hearts
I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the album ;-) more

they would be worth 5 just for Your Latest Trick, not to mention anything else more
Primus -Sailing the Seas of Cheese
My number ONE absolute and now established favorite. It has succeeded in the not so simple task of surpassing a beautiful list of "Sacred Monsters" that seemed untouchable... Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, etc. etc. And it did so to the rhythm of that crazed mix of genres and styles well known, presented with lucid and demented madness by my cousin Les, well supported by Larry and Tim. PRIMUS: a name, various wobbly guarantees. more
Dire Straits -Communiquè
Whatever people may say, for me this album is far from being a "carbon copy" of its predecessor. I find it much more expansive, more "slow," let's say, but not any less beautiful: a refinement of sound, so clean and out of the ordinary, emerges from here as well. The opening seconds of "Once upon a time in the West," the gem of "Lady Writer," the elegiac march of "Follow me Home," and "News," a tearjerking ballad, bring it to the highest acclaim. more

Unique. The most beautiful male voice in Italian pop music of all time. Molleggiato, King of the Ignorants, cunning, "Italian." Almost SIXTY YEARS of career and it still kicks your ass. MUTE. more

Mazzy Star, as much as I liked them ("So Tonight That I Might See" is beautiful), seem almost like "little things" compared to a fucking masterpiece like "Happy Nightmare Baby," ultra-acid/paisley garage rock/call it whatever you want, but it's a masterpiece like few. And the collection of "leftovers" that came out afterward, "Early Recordings," is a masterpiece in the same way, despite being outtakes! Much quieter, dreamier, just as "acidic" and floating... May Satan have them in glory. more
Antipop Consortium -arrhythmia
Among the coolest Hip-Hop albums released in the last decade, in the opinion of the writer. Here the beats become epileptic, fragmented, clearly in the Warp school. In fact, the album was released under Warp Records, the label that has produced amazing stuff like Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards Of Canada, and a good 80% of the coolest and most revolutionary electronic music of the last 25 years. more
