THE REVIEW

[TatteredAndTorn#0 sent us the review in two versions. We are publishing both, just in case, maybe one of them is in Italian, and we haven't noticed]

For those who wanted 14 people=shit, this album won't be the best since it marks the technical shift of the nine crazy ones from Iowa. The solos by James and Mick (#4 and #7) are incredible, and finally, you can hear all nine musicians in this album. There's a lot of melody and even 2 beautiful acoustic tracks (I haven't been smoking, it's true): vermillon pt.2 and circle. Anyway, in my opinion, the most beautiful of the two is Vermillon pt.2. But the heavier sounds are not missing, just see welcome (the solo is beautiful), the nameless, Three nil, the blister exists, and the beautiful Duality. In the head and the essence of the album, you can strongly feel an influence announced by the knot of Pink Floyd. In fact, prelude 3.0 (which, unlike albums, is a song, not a sample) and Danger, Keep Away are very psychedelic
Speaking of Danger, keep away, at the end, it seems like it's cut abruptly, as if there were Danger keep Away part 2 in a possible digipak. I don't know, this part I'm imagining............
I forgot the swear words in the lyrics are almost gone
IN CONCLUSION:
THE SLIPKNOT HAVE MATURED. THEY HAVE LOST IN MALICE BUT THE VIOLENCE, FROM THAT BRAZEN AND AGGRESSIVE OF IOWA, HAS SWITCHED TO A "PSYCHOLOGICAL" ONE IN VOL.3, AND THEY HAVE ALSO SHOWN (I'M REFERRING TO MICK AND JAMES, NOT JOEY WHO HAS ALREADY SHOWN A LOT) WHAT THEY CAN DO WITH THEIR INSTRUMENTS
STAY (SIC) AND STAY TUNDED

You wanted 14 people=shit... you expected them after IOWA, huh... know that slipKNot
PUT IT IN YOUR ASS!
In this album, no people shit nor (Sic), but space for two beautiful acoustic songs (Circle and Vermillon pt.2)... but don’t worry because besides the aforementioned two songs and Prelude 3.0 (hear ye, hear ye, this is not a sample, a novelty in the world of slipknot) and Danger keep away with Pink Floydian influence, there are heavy songs (Vermillon, Pulse of the Maggots, Duality, Three Nil, Opium of the People, welcome, The blister exists, and the beautiful Duality), some with beautiful electric guitar solos, you understood well, solos because in this album the knot guitarists have shown what they are capable of and Joey (the drummer, n.d.a.)
still goes at the same levels, that is, very high, and there is Corey who screams less and sings more, and finally, you can hear all 9
and from the aggressive violence of IOWA, we have moved to a more psychological one of this album
This is the TECHNICAL SHIFT, MEANING THEY HAVE GAINED IN TECHNIQUE BUT HAVE LOST IN MALICE
P.S. a curiosity, the final track Danger, keep Away seems to be cut in half, that there is part two or the "complete" track in a hypothetical Vol.3 Digipak, I don't know, in these cases, you can only say
POWER TO THE IMAGINATION!

Vol.3 The Subliminal Verses... is nothing more than a re-presentation, in an even more commercial key, of what the group has already done in the past.

After all, just watch the Duality video to understand how pathetic and commercial these characters have become.

Forget "Iowa," the group’s personality this time is even more emphasized than in the past, and it seems above all that they have finally hit the right path.

An album recommended even (or especially) to those who no longer believed in them.

More than brutal, this is a very energetic album, with some pause songs probably inserted to give listeners a chance to catch their breath.

'Before I Forget' is quite brutal and in my opinion the best song on the CD.

The sounds, the melodies, the riffs, too commercial to be Slipknot, would leave anyone shocked.

I recommend it only to fans of commercial Nu Metal like Limp Bizkit, because this album is indeed the flag bearer of band commercialization.

"Every record reviewer gets what they deserve..."

"Don Lurido didn’t seem to take him seriously and responded with 'Forgive him, Father, for he does not know what he says.'"
