Headstone Circus - Headstone Circus - 1968 - (Full Album)

These tracks, recorded between '68 and '70, were not released at the time and represent the complete legacy of "Headstone Circus."

Bassist Nick Bonis, guitarist and songwriter Glenn Faria, drummer Randy Ray Pope, and lead guitarist Mike Johnstone formed this band in '66.

Listening to these tracks (released roughly 40 years later), it is evident that "Headstone Circus" were truly doing things right.

The group was supposed to have a psychedelic rock sound, but Glenn steered the original intention towards something much closer to "Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young" or "Buffalo Springfield."

Glenn has a warm voice, and the multi-part vocal harmonies— which are the main link to "CS&N"— along with most of the melodies, have an immediate charm.
