Dead Moon - Dead Moon Night

Graveyard

He wanted to do rock and roll since he was a child. He was already around in the sixties with the Lollipop Shoppe, who even made it onto Nuggets, and after a lot of wandering, he started a second life at 40 with his project - the Luna Morta - alongside his partner and a dear friend. His music encompasses everything: garage, punk, blues, hard rock, country, psychedelia, even some singer-songwriter vibes… all strictly lo-fi… it’s said that even in recent times he recorded with equipment that had long been out of date… Fred, one of those characters from the past, far removed from any mainstream, but to whom every Rocker will always say “thank you”…

I don’t think there are any books, but on Google, there are some stories about him - at least there were - and even a really nice interview.

someday our ocean will find its shore...happy birthday Nick, wherever you are.

L'inimitabibile lista d'ascolto di DeBaser

Oh boy!
I don't know what face he had, not even what his name was,
What voice he spoke with, or what voice he sang with,
How many years he had seen then, what color his hair was...

Red House Painters - Medicine Bottle
let's also say enough to having to swallow mediocrity every day and let's go back to producing beauty... for example, in front of a band like this, our dormant sensitivity cannot remain indifferent.

Asterics' One Hundred Favourites [in no particular order] (37/100)

Songs Awaiting Christmas (they've already decorated the tree at my house!)
Like every year, Christmas will come again this year. I'm getting ready, that's the news.
Ruggero de I Timidi feat. Dheborah - Natale al Motel (Video Ufficiale)
And Christmas is also a splendid setting for poignant and steamy love stories (if we have a wonderful example of a real man and the usual pale blonde, even better)!
And @[Falloppio] silent!

I know practically nothing about Italian garage - as is the case elsewhere, but here even more - BUT… GARAGE FRIENDS… if you want 3 albums of wonderful pure garage… get their three from Siena-Tuscany-Italy… all without any contamination from the Sonics, Standells, Chesterfield, Miracle Workers, etc. etc…

Since I can only find the other two on badcamp and area pirata… let’s feast on the magnificence of the debut…
