WEEK AT THE BLACK MARKET>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Weather Report Week couldn't have ended any other way, what do you think?

Chris Bell - Look Up Ok, "You And Your Sister," "I Am The Cosmos," "Speed Of Sound," and "Better Save Yourself" are fantastic, but this?? This!!

UK Decay-Sexual One of their hit singles.

Weather Report Barbary Coast

WEEK AT THE BLACK MARKET>>>>>>>>>>>>> Parappa, parappappà…..

THE DANSE SOCIETY怀The Seduction怀Arabia怀12ā€ć€€side B(1985) 45 RPMs that showcase all the artistry of this band: cosmic intros, toms that break through the bass carpet, guitars with lunar sounds, a vocal timbre that I believe must have surely flashed a young Piero Pelù (I wonder if "Onda Araba" was inspired by listening to "Arabia" by Danse Society...) and other hidden wonders.

Radio Birdman - Man With The Golden Helmet
Amid all the daily nonsense that the good @[Battlegods] posts and writes, he rarely has the ability to remind you of albums you haven’t listened to in ages.
An obviously stunning album with this piece so beautiful that it summarizes in 5 minutes and 37 seconds so much of the sixties and seventies... the atmosphere, those Manzarek-like keyboards, that final acid and angry guitar... one of my all-time favorite tracks...
Well done, Battle, see you’re useful ahahahahahah

The Jazz Giants '56 - This Year's Kisses

Jazz Legends - The Second Lines (59 of 100) Roy Eldridge
from "The Jazz Giants '56" - 1956 (Norgran)

Motƶrhead - God Save the Queen Live
Has any of the many intellectuals who frequent DeBasio understood the reason why today on our national TV channels the royal wedding is being broadcast *in a unified network* between meg(lo)man and arri(potter)?

Hallelujah! - You Are The Champion (MDR008)

Great live last night at Kroen in Verona with spontaneous pogo moments.

UK Decay-Werewolf ...but from around minute 3:15 WHAT HAPPENS? I'm amazed that this track isn’t celebrated as much as the evergreen dark post-punk hits. Damn, perfection! But how much did the guitarist love the tremolo? <3

The Danse Society - "Belief" 1983 A fundamental band for gothic rock and the dark scene. Even though the voice is always hypnotic and full of pathos, Danse do not dive into the frenzied sketches of the Virgin Prunes, they do not wink at the synths like "Movement" by New Order, nor do they even pull off a blatant copy of Bauhaus and Christian Death. Alongside UK Decay, another fundamental band for this scene, they execute a truly interesting dark post-punk vision that deserves to be rediscovered.
