Modest Mouse-Bukowski

From Lonesome to Good News, I enjoyed them so much. Sometimes I hear people say it's better than an orgasm; I always prefer the orgasm, one of the most beautiful things we've been given.

The Beach Boys - Wouldn't It Be Nice (Original Video)
Always from ā€œI love radio rockā€ā€¦ chills, I get emotional…
There’s also the Count fuck…
Now I’m going to the Contessina’s school party, a sea of useless people… I don’t speak, I don’t hear, I don’t see…

A Whiter Shade Of Pale - Procol Harum
I'm watching "I Love Radio Rock"...
I HAVE to put it on....

tom waits-black wings There is... Oh my God

Paul Weller - 'Long Long Road' (Lyric Video)
This gentleman has turned sixty...

Ace - How Long (1974 HQ)
Almost thirty years later, Simply Red (that is, the surviving red) took this refrain, glued it to an old Hall & Oates loop, and came up with 'Sunrise'.

In the Kingdom of the Blind the One-Eyed are Kings This part of "Serpent's Egg" corresponds to the stunning "Xavier" from "Within The Realm..."

Polvo - Cor-Crane Secret [Vinyl Rip] - 04 - Can I Ride? The original version (cooler, noisier, and less "cheerful") compared to the one released in the 1995 EP) of this other gem from Polvo.

The Gun Club - "The Breaking Hands" [Remastered] Perhaps not everyone knows that Jeffrey Lee Pierce, during the time of "Mother Juno," was heavily inspired by "Treasure" by the Cocteau Twins. The sounds in the arrangement of this piece are proof of that!

YOB - The Screen (Official Audio)
The intro from zappaterra really gets me going.
Too bad they switch to the gentler rake afterwards.

Keith Richards ne ha per tutti! Dai Led Zeppelin agli Oasis fino a Bowie, gli insulti più taglienti del chitarrista dei Rolling Stones - Foto 1 di 11

For thirty years I've read about you, and from the very beginning, you never convinced me. Fake and envious. You’ve fooled (almost) everyone but not me from the first moment. The only thing we have in common is a visceral passion for blues; everything else, now that you’re old, many will understand what I’ve always thought of you. This flaunting of your drug use and alcohol consumption, proudly, with that physique that allowed you to always be out there in great shape... in reality, you never really did drugs and you never drank more than the average person who makes music at that level and in that context. My friend Luca (but I could mention dozens) has lived for kilometers on the street, eating crap and using everything as a choice (without personal doctors, clinics, and hotels for VIPs, see Campbell’s story). For years you’ve been eating salad and drinking herbal teas but you can’t let that be known. I've always sensed your envy (masked by your friendly press, because it's good to remember that after the very first years, the press has always been pro-Rolling, contrary to what people think). Since the Led Zeppelin came to Atlantic (tough luck, huh?) and blew you away... while Mick, more savvy, and the others, without your envy, became colleagues if not friends, you could never stand it. And shall we talk about your envy for the guitarists you’ve had by your side?! (It wasn’t their fault they were better than you). Shall we discuss how you and Jagger immediately kicked Stu out, the real initiator of the Rolling?! Because he didn’t have the right look... ahaha what good friends (and you’re the charming one, huh?). No one is to blame if you weren’t even worthy of a comparison with the other English guitarists of the time... it can’t possibly be Blackmore's, Page's, Clapton's, Green’s, Townshend’s fault, and all those I haven’t mentioned, right?! And I’ll skip over everything that happened with Brian, the only true charismatic leader of the Stones... best leave that aside. Only an envious and old fool without a shred of class can throw out such free insults. I don’t even read it, I ā€œknowā€ you, you’ve never fooled me ā€œboyā€... I’m sorry I can’t tell you this to your face (just like YOU don’t do with others). That said, I love the Stones, and you’ve always been a part of it, and I wish you still a lot of rock’n’roll... at least in that, you’re real...

Metallica - Orion (HD)

In honor of that genius Cliff Burton. An instrumental piece all his own, underrated in my opinion unjustly. A great loss, although compensated tremendously considering the continuation of his career.

Wilco - Heavy Metal Drummer (Lyrics)

How can a record label reject an album like this? AH IDIOTS!!!

Eddie Money - Maybe I'm A Fool
Remembered mostly for the '80s
(the hair and dark glasses from 'Take Me Home Tonight', along with that jacket which today would be mistaken for pajamas).
Back then, he did this kind of stuff.

Grateful Dead - Unbroken Chain
Nice record, 'From The Mars Hotel'.
I had heard negative things about it, or at least not good ones.

Lowercase - Slightly Dazed

Welcome to the personal hell of this duo that skillfully blends Noise Rock, Post Rock, and Slowcore.
