The Verve - A Man Called Sun

He lifts you up he shines
And then he's gone
But you know you need him
More when he's gone

Manowar - Blood And Steel

"The power of these tracks is incredible!
We couldn't release more songs together; it would have been too much!
We want our fans to hear every single note and every word of these songs, and from this listening, gain more strength for their everyday battles."

And if Joey De Maio says it, you can trust it.

Brain Donor - Lughnasad
But who is hiding behind that mask? So much desire to bring back to light electric sagas from the 70s. Not entirely successful, though; a hint of originality might not hurt.

The Clean - Point That Thing Somewhere Else
Because this voice recording is shit. Redone later with a good voice but a shitty arrangement. Incredible.

James - Stripmining
In 1988, I dust off a vinyl by James. I've never quite gotten along with Tim Booth's band, often compared to the Smiths, but let's not go there. I like them when they maintain an intimate tone, but when they turn it up to "Stadium Band" level, frankly, I lose interest.
