Candlemass - The Well Of Souls
The second album doesn't captivate me from start to finish like the debut, but this, At the Gallows End, and Bewitched are historic triumphs. From Ancient Days I see more craftsmanship and fewer flashes of genius.

'Have a Little Faith in Me': and how could one not have it, for this Dylan of Indiana, but also Springsteen or why not Steve Earle or John Mellencamp?
For nearly forty years he has been producing memorable songs (and thus albums) for himself and for others, a bit rock, a bit country, a bit blues (oh, the blues... indeed he has the blues... you will see) sung with an incomparable soulful voice.
In a better world, even a little of this disgusting stuff would be a treasure not just for us gerontocrats
