Ninna Nanna

Very Sad and Beautiful

"I put him to sleep in the cradle
And entrusted him to the sea
May he be saved or go lost
And never return again to me"
They said it down in the kitchens
The word climbed up the stairs
And now the whole house knows
Last night, a child was crying
They said it down in the kitchens
And the whole house knows
That yesterday she had a baby
And that today she no longer has him
"Now get up and tell me
I know you had a baby
All night he cried, and why
Now you no longer have him with you"
"I put him to sleep in the cradle
And entrusted him to the sea
May he be saved or go lost
And never return again to me"
"Now get up and come with me
Tonight we will go into town
Wash your hands, wash your face
Put on the gray dress that you have"
She didn't wear the gray dress
That night to go into town
Dressed in white, people saw her
Pass by in front of them
"Last night I combed the hair
Of my mistress
Then I put my son to sleep
And entrusted him to the sea"
My mother certainly didn’t know
When she held me close to her
About the lands I would travel
About the fate I would have
"I put him to sleep in the cradle
And entrusted him to the sea
May he be saved or go lost
And never return again to me"

In the infamous tavern song, this would be the, um, number twenty...

@[ZiOn] Bro, do we want to pay tribute to this monumental, total, global album that just turned 30 a few days ago? Choosing a track was a challenge. This one remains my favorite. It can't be described. I don't know.

Letfield Song of Life (Remastered)

Dik Dik - La Notte
Dik Dik - I Sogni
Great album produced by Vandelli with Totaro's keyboards shining.
Vibes reminiscent of Procol Harum/Moody Blues with Dark Psych scents.

Jingo de Lunch - Peace of mind @[sfascia carrozze] I don’t know why, but my mental association led me here. I’m sure they will appreciate it.
