I revisited and truly enjoyed the albums of the "turnaround" from the great Creeps, which have been criticized by hardcore garage fans.

I completely disagree; sure, there’s hardly any garage left, but the sound—aside from a few tracks that lean towards a radio-friendly rock vibe like Brian Adam—man, the Soul atmosphere and the wonderfully Funky groove make Mr Please Please Please and Sly, Sam and LA Betty, Glenn and Tommy from the Mark IV dance. Are we kidding?!

Last night, around 6:25/6:26 PM, just before falling asleep, my doorbell rang.
It was old Gualtiero.
You know him as a guitarist from Rome. Also a part-time Mayor.
He was desperate: he asked me if I knew someone who could quickly replace Tonieffe (I asked him, "Who?" and he said, "Never mind..") for the New Year’s concert.
I grabbed the little notebook from the nightstand next to the glass with the dentures and gave him Pete's number.
What can I say: let’s hope for the best.
If this year’s New Year’s concert in the capital turns out to be a hit, you know who to thank.

Year 1990. Radio Lady has spent the previous decade, like all the radio stations that broadcast in the '80s, amidst the nascent synthpop, the fluorescent sweaters, the countdown of Europe that shattered quite a bit-not-bad and the usual, canonical, unavoidable request show (do you know of a local station that doesn't include it in its schedule?). Radio Lady's show is called "Il Tuo Disco" and is hosted by a certain Saverio Bruno. Good Saverio has a blatant problem with disnomia; he’s the Luca Giurato (may heaven bless him) of radio. One fine day, while having breakfast and tuning the home radio to the aforementioned station, Saverio Bruno makes the gaffe that would forever remain in the annals: "*And* now let's listen to Attenti Al Lucio by Lupo *Dalla*." Thinking back on it always makes me laugh a lot. Many years later, I had the chance to see Dalla live (I thank the Gods for having this unique, wonderful opportunity) in an unforgettable concert, where the poetic genius would share an anecdote related to each song at the beginning. About Attenti Al Lupo, he said: "For this song, scholars, music critics, philosophers, and ordinary people have racked their brains trying to find meaning, the metaphor. I simply tell you that it has no meaning, let alone a metaphor; I wrote it in a moment of lightness.

Could it be that Saverio Bruno wanted to convey the nonsense of the piece with a magnificent disnomia?

My father never did shit in his life and so he took it out on me... if you say I’m no different from him, I have to agree with you!

But at this point, it’s too late to start over... it’s funny how life is; you could die laughing!”
