Birth Of Joy - Know Where To Run

These three lads, after their spectacular first album, partially abandon the psychedelic-garage-punk with powerful and fascinating sixties foundations, especially doors-oriented, venturing into sounds contaminated by the following three decades. The result is often valid, while at times decidedly imperfect.

Bush - Glycerine

[...]So, I just recorded two songs by Bush from the radio. One is "Glycerine," and the other, I don't even know the name; it's the one that goes: "I don’t want to come back from this cloud."
"Glycerine," by the way, is copied straight from "The Big Ship" by Brian Eno, the entire bass line.
In fact, look, when we get home, I'll let you listen to "The Big Ship" and then "Glycerine."

(Quote from "How to Be a Person", or an interview by David Lipsky with David Foster Wallace, a book I've been reading in bits and pieces for a couple of months now... & nothing!)
