An overview of Gaber's work, between his prophecies/distopias that have sometimes materialized in a disconcerting way and the lateral visions of all our lives, among daily habits and quirks, miseries and aspirations, the political and the personal. We take him from the beginning of the second part of his career, in a time when he brought his texts, and those of Sandro Luporini, on endless theatrical tours all over Italy, where the audience would also intervene as was customary back then, rising to voice their opinions, even in open contradiction to the artist, who would respond and sometimes come out bruised, but other times not. Nowadays, one would rather give him a like on Feisbucc or become his hater, given that it seems no one expresses anything in public anymore, limiting themselves to hiding behind a nickname, or even a pinky. Sometimes I find myself asking what he would think of this or that event; I really am sometimes curious to know, like...
Recited and sung, as in the best Gaberian tradition... "I with a woman have more courage, I caress myself, practically court myself... oh how I love myself..."
