2.Ko de mondo
Four years after the colossal epitaph of the CCCP, a new group born from its ashes emerges: the Consorzio suonatori indipendenti, with their first album bearing this name, Ko de mondo. The influences and genres are manifold, ranging from the restless chant in a sort of rap, Palpitazione tenue, to the pseudo-funk of Celluloide, from the ethnic rock of Del mondo and Fuochi nella notte to the more intense rock of Home sweet home and Finistere. However, the album contains a very deep common thread: life and the ruin of the world, which can inevitably be translated into death and therefore rebirth. By now the West is a lost place, war enters people’s minds, love becomes a source of self-indulgence, and information flies into ears in a schizophrenic manner. Amidst the general chaos, however, two posters of resistance to the tempests of this planet emerge: the first is the opening track A tratti, which features a definite and concrete rejection of the way humans think (as it says, "don’t make me an idol or I will burn"), the second is In viaggio, where we can admire how everything is still in constant movement. Ko de mondo therefore represents the first gigantic masterpiece under the Csi name, which is unlikely to be replicated or even improved... #maybe
