After forty years, I still struggle to find a worse assembled song than this one, broken beyond belief, with no sync between the rhythm section and the horns, deflated vocals, and disjointed rhythms. It sounds like a demo, one of those that needs to be redone at least sixty times, disjointed because it hasn't been rehearsed enough, perhaps.
But, darling, what a piece, what a delight, what nostalgia.
