English band formed by Kevin Rowland in 1978, known for blending soul, pop and Celtic/folk influences and for the international hit "Come On Eileen."

Fronted by Kevin Rowland. Three studio albums frequently highlighted by critics are Searching for the Young Soul Rebels (1980), Too-Rye-Ay (1982) and Don't Stand Me Down (1985). The group had a major hit with "Come On Eileen" (1982). Lineups changed frequently.
