Peppino Marotto.

Marotto was a poet and tenor singer, involved in theater, and besides being a shepherd, he was also a trade unionist.

He was among the leaders of the Pratobello revolt, in which about 2000 men (mostly shepherds), women, and children peacefully stopped the Italian army and blocked the new base that would have wiped out the pastures in the area.
