Farewells have never been my strong suit, or rather, speeches in general. That's why I won't be giving sermons and certainly won't be saying goodbye (you won't get rid of me that easily). I still want to thank everyone who participated, all those who took part in the various episodes, and those who limited themselves to a humorous comment. As already mentioned, it hasnāt been a walk in the park. Searching for locations on Google Earth, taking screenshots with the most faithful perspective, documenting the covers with geographical, technical, and historical information, and last but not least, presenting them with a prologue has been an endeavor that has consumed quite a bit of time and energy. But the growing enthusiasm observed episode after episode has been my greatest reward. Speaking of enthusiasm, I opened this showcase with a quote and I'll close it with another: āNothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm.ā (Ralph Waldo Emerson) I havenāt done anything great, obviously, but I had a lot of fun, and thatās enough for me.
Thank you, DeBaserioti with the magnifying glass, see you next time!
