Led Zeppelin - The Ocean (Live in New York 1973) ... 1978: the death of his son shatters Plant's life, where time stands still. Touring is out of the question; for months, he doesn't leave his farm. From mid-year onwards, they get together to return to the studio, but without conviction. The various members are hosted at other artists' shows while rumors of a band breakup circulate. Plant finds renewed strength from the news of the impending arrival of his child. In November, he and Jones travel to Stockholm to the Polar studio of Abba to record new material. The tragedies of 1977 loom over the year like a dark cloud. Let’s not forget that Page's dependency on heroin and Bonham's on alcohol continue to worsen. The awards won, as always, for best band and album this time go unnoticed.
