Isaac Hayes - By The Time I Get To Phoenix

To liven up the crowd of fetishists for the latest track, here it is, indeed, the latest piece from the genius of Stax, from one of his essential albums... A lengthy introduction, accompanied only by the drummer keeping time on the cymbal, nothing else... when the listener is already worn out from Brother Isaac's long monologue, he finally starts to sing in his own style, and it's been almost nine minutes of just talking... But Isaac Aieie was like this, take it or leave it.
A piece of advice? Take it, take it.
