This is why I’ve always loved this band. They had the guts to change, but not to change radically, always keeping their roots firm and tight, evolving but never denying the past. An album that every metalhead worth their salt should have in their collection, in my opinion.

"You can show a guy eating a human brain, but you can’t show a nipple." Lordi may seem boring, repetitive, but they do it damn well, and most importantly, with fun.

Udo, and especially his voice which at 64 is perfectly identical to when he was 30, manages to make it seem even more engaging. Every metalhead who wants to define themselves as such... should have Udo Dirkschneider in their cultural baggage.

The album opens with the title track, a very powerful riff, but... a buzzing bass will accompany us throughout almost the entire album. An album that none, not even I... would have ever expected... It just about reaches adequacy and a bit more, but for a band like Manowar... I honestly ask for nothing more.

Manowar's 2012 album The Lord of Steel marks a controversial return after five years, blending powerful riffs with a distracting buzzing bass. Eric Adams's voice remains strong despite his age, while some tracks deliver high energy and others fall short. The album does not overshadow the band's classics but still holds a modest place in their discography. Fans may be divided on its overall impact. Explore Manowar's The Lord of Steel to judge this unique metal entry for yourself—experience the power and decide if it earns a place in your collection!
Golgotha sounds damn good, and perhaps this is precisely the strong point of W.A.S.P., sounding good regardless of others’ judgments. The song will prove to be a real force that I recommend everyone to see.

W.A.S.P.'s latest album Golgotha proves that after six years, the band still creates compelling heavy metal music. Blackie Lawless' matured vocals and spiritual themes enrich the album, while Doug Blair's guitar solos stand out. The album balances energetic tracks, emotional ballads, and powerful lyrics, showing the band's ability to evolve without losing their classic heavy metal essence. Despite some song recycling, Golgotha remains a strong and engaging release. Listen to Golgotha now and experience W.A.S.P.’s enduring heavy metal power live!
